ADCAMix SI20 Direct Steam Injectors
The ADCAMix SI20 series of direct steam injectors are designed to provide low-noise heating for still or flowing mediums within basins and vessels. Ideal for industrial applications, these injectors efficiently and quietly mix saturated steam with the surrounding media, ensuring rapid heating with minimal disturbance.
Operation:
Steam enters the ADCAMix SI20 through the inlet connection, traveling through the center of the device. It passes through the holes in the inner rings, eventually reaching the element plates, where most of the steam condenses. The resulting condensate is discharged at low velocity through hundreds of serrated apertures located on the periphery of the element plates. This process allows the condensate to mix seamlessly with the cool medium.Under heavy loads, if any steam bypasses the element plates, it is released in very small jets, condensing rapidly in the surrounding liquid. This innovative design ensures minimal noise and vibration, even during intense operation.

HOW TO SIZE:
Example
Application requires injection of 950 kg/h of saturated steam, which is readily available at a pressure of 5 bar. Assuming
a 20% pressure drop across the self acting temperature regulator, the steam supply to the injectors will be of 4 bar.
From the capacity chart, the injector will process 293 kg/h at 4 bar, and 950 divided by 293 equals 3,24.
Three injectors will barely cope, so it is recommended to install four ADCAMix SI20 injectors, to safely meet the demand.
