Description
ADCAMat POP-LC Pressure Operated Pump
Introducing the ADCAMat POP-LC Low Capacity Pressure Operated Pump, a highly efficient solution designed for the transfer of steam condensate, oils, and other non-hazardous liquids compatible with its construction. This versatile pump is engineered to operate under varying pressure conditions, making it ideal for lifting liquids to higher elevations.
Key Features:
- Compact Design: Engineered for efficient space utilization, the POP-LC features a low filling head that minimizes installation requirements.
- Durable Construction: Manufactured from either carbon steel (POP-LCS) or stainless steel (POP-LCSS), the pump includes hardened stainless steel wear parts and high-endurance Inconel springs, ensuring longevity and reliability
- Versatile Operation: The POP-LC can operate using steam, compressed air, nitrogen, or other gases, making it suitable for various industrial environments, including those that are hazardous
- Gravity-Assisted Flow: Liquid flows into the pump via an inlet check valve, lifting a float that manages the operation of the motive fluid intake and vent valves. This design allows the pump to drain closed vessels under vacuum or pressure effectively.
- Pressure Build-Up: As the float reaches its highest position, the motive fluid intake valve opens, allowing pressure to build in the pump. This pressure facilitates the opening of the outlet check valve, enabling discharge
- Flow Measurement: The discharged liquid can be quantified using a special counter, allowing the pump to function as a reliable flow meter
- Low Operating Costs: The pump requires no electric power and has no Net Positive Suction Head (NPSH) issues, resulting in reduced running costs
